Terms of Use
By visiting or playing Inkstead, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
The service
Inkstead is an experimental, single-player browser game provided for entertainment. We may change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and no account or persistent game save is promised.
Acceptable use
You may play and share links to the game for personal, lawful use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe or bypass its security, scrape it at an unreasonable rate, or use it to distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.
Intellectual property
The Inkstead name, code, artwork, interface, music, and other original materials belong to HappyMonkey AI or their respective licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable licence to use the game as provided; they do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy, resell, or repackage it.
Availability and disclaimer
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything important; the game is not a storage or backup service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HappyMonkey AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as Inkstead develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The updated date above records the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law says otherwise.
